Giza

The Giza thread is an elastic jewel yarn in lycra and lamé, nickel free, has a diameter of about 0.9mm. The look of the yarn is compact when relaxed. Being an elastic thread it is recommended to work softer than normal.

Composition: elastane/polyester - nickel free

Ideal for processes such as: beads worked in crochet and crystalline, tatting needle, micro macramé, Tunisian crochet.

Tips for choosing crochet:

The size of the crochet to be used is chosen according to the brand of the crochet, the color or the size of the yarn, the type of work you want to make. But most of all it can vary according to the tension that each of us imprints in the work he is making. Recommended crochet 2.50 - 3.00mm 

Tips for inserting beads.

The choice of the material to be inserted in the thread must be made according to its diameter. For the Gizs jewel yarn we can use pearls, resins, crystals, glasses or beads with a diameter of at least 1.5 mm (for example, 6mm and over crystalline). To facilitate the insertion of the beads it is recommended to moisten the first 10 cm of the thread with glue type attack, let dry, cut the end and proceed with the insertion of the beads. In case you want to insert a high amount of crystalline in the wire, please slide the beads carefully. Once finished the project stop the glue work type hasulith, claw or glue for fabrics.
